PSF erected two Nooter-Eriksen Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG's) at Calpine’s Metcalf Energy Center near San Jose, CA. Work included unloading of the two HRSG Steam Drums and 42 HRSG Modules from railroad cars at the site and transporting them to the foundation, erection of the Inlet Duct from the Turbines to the HRSGs, the HRSGs, Outlet Duct and Stack, and piping through the ASME Hydro-test limits, which is through the first valve for the vent piping, and through the second valve for the drain piping. The start date for our field crew was January 5th, 2004 with hydro-tests performed in November 2004 and a final completion date in January 2005. Our craftsmen installed the piping which included 448 large bore welds of which 80 are P91 material. Rejects were less than 2%.
