Stack Erection

During a scheduled shutdown, a fire destroyed the structural support of the center section of a mining company’s 260 feet stack.  PSF performed next day damage inspection and design calculations.  A new 12 feet diameter by 56 feet long center section was shop-fabricated in Seattle and transported to Claypool, Arizona site to prevent delay of the scheduled start-up.  From start to finish our contribution took 13 days.
