JUNE 2, 2003 SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – President Stanley Miller and the employees of PSF Industries were the proud recipients of the 2002 Fabricated Product of the Year award as presented by the Steel Plate Fabricators Association.  The 103 year old company has over 150 employees in Seattle, WA, Eugene, OR and Salt Lake City, UT.

The project located at Edwards Air Force Base is a 87 feet– 6 inches diameter, 1 3/8 inches thick self supporting Vacuum sphere with thirteen legs, internal high pressure spray system and 84 inches diameter ductwork.  It is a turnkey project to design, procure, fabricate and erect Vacuum Sphere to ASME Code, Section VIII, Div I requirements for an experimental project to test the feasibility of an airborne laser system.
